BabyMax.11 - On the Way to The Hospital
We received a call from Melanie about 4:30 a.m. saying that her water had broken, and they were in the car headed to the hospital. She said her contractions had definately picked up. She is at 33 weeks so they are back at the hospital where Susannah Joy was born. She would have had to be 34 weeks to go to the hospital they were planning to deliver at. The good news is that they are familiar with the hospital and staff. The difficult part, in addition to it being so early for this baby to be born, is that this is the exact week in pregnancy that Susannah Joy was born. Thank you for your continued prayers. We will update as we have news.
In Christ Jesus, Steve and Teri

I’ve been checking your blog every day to see how baby Max and family are doing. This morning’s news moved me to tears and my most heartfelt prayers. I beseech our dear Lord in Heaven to shower you all with every grace. You’ll be in my prayers every hour of this day and in the days to come.

We’re praying for everyone here. We’re also rejoicing that Melanie made it 33 weeks. We have a 31 weeker and a 33 weeker who are 4 and 2 years old now. Both are doing very well and have ZERO issues due to their prematurity. Still… praying for baby to stay put as long as possible.

We are praying for the whole family. We have three 32 weekers who have no problems related to premature birth or other wise . They are eight and a half now. 2 Samuel 22:33 God is my strength and power ,and he makes my way perfect.

Praying here too!! A 33-week delivery is MUCH better for mom & baby than a 26-week one — so grateful to God that Baby Max has stayed in the womb this long.
Lots of prayer warriors for the 3 of you — God bless!

Lifting Nathan, Melanie and the baby in prayer, using my favorite one by St. Teresa of Avila:
“Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things pass away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
He who has God
Finds he lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.”
God bless!
