We had a delightful weekend with Teri’s sister and her husband in Alabama. There was lots of time for talking, a daily walk, evening Bible time, meal preparation and delicious meals, plus a small home improvement project. We were very blessed that our trip brought us close enough to their house that we could leave on our trip early and stop to visit them. Plus we asked Grandma and Grandad’s permission to go early since they do the shipping while we are away and that makes more shipping days for them. Nathan and Melanie also agreed to take over our church for an extra Sunday so that we could see Uncle Rob and Aunt Tami.

Joseph, pictured here, and John (not shown--he was up in the attic), installed a light fixture.

Anna, working on school.

Mary, working on school.

Christopher working on a computer.

We listened in to church yesterday via phone.

Sarah writing postcards. We try to send a postcard to each of our dear friends at the nursing home every week when we are on the road.

Praying before we left Alabama this morning...

Its nice to travel to visit family and friends for couple of days to catch up what’s going on…..to help them, chat and etc.
Your friends from the nursing home will be sooooo happy to received snail mail.
Have a safe trip.
We live in Madison, AL. I am presently reading Fall with the Moody’s to the kids and I am also carefully reading through Manager of their Chores. It’s been strange to think you were so close this weekend as we were reading your books!
My children would like to know if Sarah has any more Moody books in the works? We have the first 4 and have really enjoyed them!

. Yes, another Moody book is in the works. Another Summer with the Moodys is in final outline stage, and I’m close to writing

Actually, much closer than you thought
We are so glad you are able to connect with family also as you are traveling. That is wonderful and an important part of family time
also. Many blessings to you on this trip.
So glad to hear in the previous add on note from Sarah that there is another book on the horizon. Our children really have enjoyed them
also, esp. our youngest daughter. Thanks so much, keep it up.
Sarah,
In my haste, I put “Fall with the Moody’s”, but of course it’s “Autumn with the Moody’s”.
I’ll tell my kids that you are working on another book! My daughter, especially, wants to hear more about the twins!
