This family’s 9 and 7yobs switch off doing blue chores one week, and then green the next. The 3yob is Caleb.

Blue Chores (9yob or 7yob)

Morning:
Monday: make bed
Tuesday: clean room
Wednesday: remove sheets
Thursday: clean room
Friday: make bed
Empty dishwasher as necessary.
Bedroom cleaning: pick up all toys and clothes off the floor, from under the bed and off the dressers, close dresser drawers, clean up Sega, close closet doors
Afternoon: Family room and kitchen
Monday: Clean & vacuum assigned rooms. Fold your clothes.
Tuesday: Clean assigned rooms. Dust. Wash windows & bathroom mirrors.
Wednesday: Clean & vacuum assigned rooms. Vacuum stairs.
Thursday: Clean assigned rooms. Fold your clothes & towels.
Friday: Clean & vacuum assigned rooms.
Room cleaning: pick up all toys & clothes. Put them where they belong. Look behind things, under things and around things to clean up ALL toys.

Green Chores

Morning:
Monday: clean room
Tuesday: make bed
Wednesday: clean room
Thursday: make bed
Friday: clean room

Wednesday: Clean & vacuum assigned rooms. Sweep foyer. Vacuum upstairs.
Thursday: Clean assigned rooms. Fold your clothes & Caleb’s clothes & towels.
Friday: Clean & vacuum assigned rooms. Sweep foyer. Clean upstairs bathroom.
Bathroom cleaning: clean sink, wipe toilet, wipe floor around toilet, sweep
Room cleaning: pick up all toys & clothes, put them where they belong. Look behind things, under things and around things to clean up ALL toys.

Caleb’s (3yob) chores

Morning:
Monday: make bed and put laundry down chute
Tuesday: make bed and help clean room
Wednesday: make bed and help clean room
Thursday: make bed and put laundry down chute
Friday: make bed and help clean room

Afternoon: foyer

Monday: Clean foyer. Wipe banister.
