Gospel Bluegrass Concert
Keynote Family Session
The Maxwell Family
Time: 1-1.5 hours

Come join the Maxwells on one stop of their musical journey. This session features all of the unmarried Maxwell children (7) plus Dad and Mom singing Gospel hymns with instrumental accompaniment. Instruments include: mountain dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, mandolin, harmonica, fiddle, bass, banjo, guitar, and dobro. The evening includes much more than just music, since examples of finding family purpose are shared throughout. Between songs, the children also each share a personal homeschooling testimony and tell about their instruments with a demonstration of their individual sounds. This session has great appeal for each homeschooling family member, young to old. In addition, it provides the audience with inspiration because the Maxwells tell how they have learned to play their instruments, how it gives opportunity for family unity, and how they are able to minister as a family through their music.
Please see below for testimonies and pictures.
The instrumental solos were great!
I loved the variety.
Harmony was lovely.
Yes, I see we can do anything through Christ.
I think I’m aiming too low. You’ve broadened my vision for my family.
You have encouraged me to trudge on in obedience to fulfill all the Lord has for my family of 8.
Wonderful!
I liked most the true love of Christ glowing from your children’s faces.
It’s awesome to see and hear your family.
I now see that with Christ as the center of your lives all things are possible.
We really enjoyed the evening. It was fun and encouraging.
Your family’s testimonies helped me to get a sense of what your family is about. And that is encouraging, refreshing and motivating.
