The Moody Family Series

Are you searching for wholesome, good books for your children to read? Books that are filled with positive role models, rather than negative ones which children are so prone to imitate? The Moody Family Series is the answer! These fiction books are about a Christian, homeschool family—the Moodys. Throughout each book, you’ll find the Moodys very easy-to-relate to. Children are delighted as they read about another family who homeschools.

Serving Jesus together, homeschooling, blessing neighbors, and loving each other are several themes in the Moody Family Series. Many moms have shared how their children have become more helpful, polite, obedient, kind, and loving after reading about the Moodys.

The books make a great family read aloud with children of all ages. If your child is reading the book by himself, the reading comprehension is suited for about ages 8 on up. Any age child will enjoy hearing about the Moodys!

"My seven year old daughter had not enjoyed reading until I ordered your books. Now when I call out that it's reading time, she comes loudly cheering for your book! We just finished the first book today and began the second. We are now treasuring our time together as we read." A mom

More Testimonials

"My family has really enjoyed the Moody family as portrayed in Sarah's books. For those of us not raised in Christian homes, they portray family life as we are trying to achieve it." A mom

"Although my children are too young for the books, I ordered them for when they are a little older. I have read through all of them, and they are wonderful! They are giving me a lot of great ideas about what our family life could be like. I attended public school, and then college, and then medical school, so I did not really know what a "day in the life" of a Christian homeschooling family could be like. I realize that the books are fiction, but I am picking up so many great ideas from them! I look forward to Spring with the Moodys!" Valerie

"I picked up the Summer with the Moodys book in April, and our oldest, a kindergartener at the time, loved listening to a chapter or two each night before bed. It was great to see him so engaged with the storyline, and then wanting to do a family night just like the one in the book! The timing has been great because I was just newly pregnant with our third child at that time and not feeling so well.

"I've just ordered the second and third books in the series, and I know we will enjoy them immensely (especially as I'm due in December—haven't read these books yet but I'm anticipating some similarities in the chronology of a pregnancy...). I just want to say thank you for offering a great family read-aloud for us; one that our boys can relate to in many ways as they listen eagerly. Thank you again!" Laura
