What Others Are Saying About Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit

This is great!!! This book was by far one of the best books I've read. It is not just for homeschooling moms, but any mom who wants to be the best mom she can be. It was challenging, enlightening and encouraging. Kelly

I wish all Moms, regardless of their school choice, could read Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit. Kathy

I read your book, Homeschooling with a Meek & Quiet Spirit. It was wonderful. Through reading this book, I found out about the scheduling book. I have enjoyed both of these books so very much! They have been extremely helpful to our family. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and knowledge with others. The Lord has certainly used you to be a blessing to others. Thanks for being so willing! A mom

Thank you for your book, Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit. It is the best book I have read in just forever and has really helped me! Reba

Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit has transformed me by the leading of the Holy Spirit! Angie

Yesterday my 7 year old son saw your book on my floor and said told me he really liked you book because it has helped me a lot. He said, "You don't yell at me anymore and we have a lot more fun. It was God that told them that stuff I bet." What a blessing! Thank you for writing and allowing the Lord to work through you so that others could be drawn to Him. I have learned to 'tie strings' with my son and not to have high expectations of him! Darlene

Thank you, Teri, for the beautiful encouragement in your book, Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit. Three other homeschool moms and I have started a Bible study/prayer group twice a month. We have been looking for something to study. Your book came at just the right time! So last night we began with Chapter 1 (even though most of us have already finished the book on our own!). Thank you again for inspiring us in our journeys to have that much longed for meek and quiet spirit! Debbie

Teri, thank you so much for this very encouraging book. It really is a blessing to me to know that other people are suffering with the same "meek and quiet spirit" robbers as I am. (My list seems to grow everyday!) Your application projects at the end of each chapter are very helpful. Thank you so much for blessing my homeschool with your words of encouragement. Ambia

Thank you for your Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit book. It touched my heart with all of my struggles as I homeschool my children. Each time I read a new page I felt as if I was sitting down with a box of tissues, a cup of tea, and a dear and trusted friend. And I did shed tears as I realized I wasn't the only one who struggles and as I found the rebuke and balm of Scripture to help me work through so many areas. Until I read your book I was dreading September and the start of another year. I have a renewed excitement and inward peace that the Lord is with me on this journey if I continually seek His face. Susan

Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit really is a different sort of "homeschooling" book because it deals with heart issues and not surface issues. I so appreciated your book because it helps me deal with ME.

There are three favorite things about your book for me: One is the focus on scripture. I really appreciate how you take us there consistently throughout the book.

The second is the "application projects." The projects are the most powerful aspect of this book! The third element was your humble, unabashed transparency. In sharing your weaknesses, you most definitely built a bridge with your readers. In sharing your failures, you are saying that you have not "arrived" and are in fact, still working diligently at these issues in your own heart.

I must say also, that as pastor's wife, I was very humbled by you Teri. I am so thankful for the people around you that allowed you to put your insights and thoughts into this book, for the circumstances that God has allowed you to experience that you could "comfort...by the comfort which you yourself are comforted of God"(2 Cor. 1:4). and for the Lord, Himself, who gave you the words. Isn't our Lord so good? Ana
